Megaman Legends 2 or Final Fantasy 12
Well my favorite game used to be Skyrim. I have no idea the amount of hours ive put into that game. But it has been replaced by Cyberpunk 2077. It has been a very long time since ive had a game capture my attention like Cyberpunk. Atleast for single player games. Sellaris is probably my favorite strategy game. And MMO… IDK kinda burnt out on all of them. I guess i might be a toss up between Guild Wars 2 and Elder Scrolls Online. I want to say Star Citizen but unfortunately she is not to that point yet, but hopefuly soon!
MMO:
Ultima Online
Star Wars Galaxy (before dreaded combat upgrade)
Asheron’s Call
World of Warcraft
Solo:
Skyrim.
Anything way back Lucas Film and Sierra put out like Red Baron, Secret Weapons Of The Luftwafe, Battle Of Britain, X-Wing, Tie Fighter, Leisure Suit Larry, King’s Quest, Space Quest.
Wing Commander, Privateer.
Falcon 2, Falcon 3, Falcon 4.
Diablo (All of them)
Ultima 1 thru Ultima 7, Underworld, etc.
And since we are at it, here are my worst gaming experience:
Anything turn-base-combat.
Fallout (all of them)
Starfield
At this point my time spent in game marks Star Citizen as the game I have been most dedicated to. If i had to choose another game that was my all time fave it would be C&C Red Alert 2 (after the balance patch) specifically. When I was just starting my IT career outside of college i was on a team that together negotiated the ability to play RA2 during our lunch hour for a much needed break from the pressure we were under. Still hands down my favorite gaming memories as we all became so good at battling each other and having to adapt strategies.
I also played all of the original Wing Commander games and those were my favorite single player experiences.
An excellent choice. I’d add — before SOE bought and ruined it.
This one.

Loved it and searched forever looking for anything that could compare. After decades, I finally found that in SC.
My runner up would be SWG before SOE destroyed it.
Giants: Citizen Kabuto
Witcher III
World of Warcraft WotLK. I put time into running as small guild called DECA just for 10man raid content. WoT and Quake Capture The Flag follow close.
Mines gotta be the xenoblade series xenoblade 2 holds a special place in my heart for the story amf characters while i think xenoblade 3’s future redeemed dlc story is my absolute favorite conclution
Only 70 posts to read through lol… I’ve got some catching up to do here. That’s why I love forums ![]()
My favorite game ever is It Takes Two because I’ve played it together with my 7yo daughter just one month ago. It was amazing for me for obvious reasons, but it’s also a perfect way to catch up on decades of classic gaming mechanics. It’s the perfect gateway game! ![]()
But my own personal favorite game objectively has got to be Star Citizen. Yes, it already is. Bugs aside. For what it is, and what it aims to become.
Arma 3 - the mod-ability made it very replayable! DayZ mod, Wasteland, Arma Life - to name a few.
Witcher 3 is still after multiple play throughs my fav. If i had to choose one.
For me it’s got to be Red Dead Redemption 2. The story is the first game to make me actually cry! The whole experience of riding through the amazing landscapes was so relaxing and immersive. Rockstar really nailed that one!
I’ve had so many lovely moments with my daughter on It Takes Two too! Time just flies and I lose count of the amount of high 5’s ![]()
