every time I try a cert following the install guide it pops up with the msg that either my password is bad or I don’t have the right cert
Can you reach the lobby? Should be able to do so even w/o a cert. If so then just change your name to add a 1 at the end “RedPandaExpress1”. That will have a bot alert staff that someone is in the lobby and there may be a certificate issue.
Do you have the most recent version of mumble? 1.3.2
