Joystick Purchase Advice

Hey everyone! So it’s been awhile since i originally backed SC in 2016 and a small bank account later i find myself at a crossroads of dedication. I am looking to switch from mouse and keyboard to joysticks and or a flight yoke setup. I will first say i am looking only at premium products like the virpil constellation or VKB. And i must also state that i am much more used to a rudder and yoke then using two joysticks. However, i do hear great things about using two joysticks specifically for SC. That all said i was looking for some players of SC to ascribe advice on what works good with star citizen. Also is any of it plug and play or is it all like every other patch in SC when you need to re-bind or totally bind everything? Anything else i should know before considering purchasing?

Key bindings can be saved and loaded, it’s not bad and once you have a feel for the key bindings they didn’t take long.
Flight yoke while immersive in your case doesn’t allow for 6 degrees of freedom you will want. I’ve used them before in SC for the thrill of it. You will be able to fly but combat will be a huge challenge. Alternatively, flight yoke gets in the way of FPS actions which make up half the game.
Dual sticks are fun and immersive and any vkb or virpil set will have plenty of hats. The throttle quadrant will come in handy to I’ve used one and kinda miss not having it.

Stick and mouse has been the way to go with SC mix of flight and FPS.

If you can do the virpil do them don’t bother with anything else.
