Been playing FPS for many years…Wolfenstein 3D, Doom(s), TF2. Also played many versions of MS Flight Simulator up to the current one and X-Plane. Star Citizen brings it all together for me. I’ve been playing SC on and off since 2019. I really like the group play aspect of the game but almost all of my SC experience so far is solo. I’ve been through a few full wipes and learn more each time around.
I’m in central Texas, work in tech, and love to travel ('verse or otherwise :-)) Looking forward to learning more and contributing to the community.
Not sure what happens next here…I’m about to download and configure the mumble stuff. Where do I go next? Thanks!
@FatHeadedZebra, thanks for the warm welcome and excellent orientation yesterday. I didn’t expect to be able to apply, be accepted, get onboarded and actually get to play SC with some team mates all in one day! It was the most fun I’ve had playing SC in a long time!
Hello Fader, welcome to Star Citizen and to Atlas Defense Industries!
It’s great to hear that you have experience playing FPS games and flight simulators, as those skills will certainly come in handy in Star Citizen. As for your interest in group play, we have a strong focus on teamwork and coordinated gameplay in ADI, so you’ll definitely find what you’re looking for here.
Thanks @Morpheus3557. Good to hear. Looking forward to working through the training process and drills.
I bought the ADI medium armor set and load out so I don’t have to scramble for that whenever that comes around.
I assume I’ll get some sort of message about training or certification or some such at some pont soon for next steps? Or is there anything else I can be doing now to progress my onboarding and training? Appreciate for any “getting started” pointers.
