Happy to meet you all, the name’s Arminus.
I think I created my account in 2013, so a very long time ago. Then I started following the development a little more around 2015-2016 and became a subscriber, before eventually pledging for the game in 2017.
So far, I’ve mostly played solo, but the main reason for that is because the game didn’t seem to hold my interest for long enough. Each patch just added a couple features, maybe some ships, but nothing tangible, until the last year or so. Now, I am on the lookout for an org to join, become a more involved member of the community, and expand my knowledge and skillset.
As for what I like to do in the verse, I honestly like to do anything. Most of my ships have historically been haulers, as I do enjoy piloting the big ships. But at the same time, being a marine sounds awesome, protecting assets on the ground or during boarding actions. Turret gunner also seems fun, or being a worker onboard a reclaimer or mole. I’m open to any and all facets of gameplay, and I would like to try my hand at all of them, before making a choice and dedicating myself to a specific path.
Oh and some personal information, I’m 34, Dutch from birth, lived in many foreign countries over the last 12 years, currently residing in Germany. I speak English, Dutch (barely) and German, no children, but do live together with my partner.
