How to Transfer Your Mumble Certificate from Windows 10 to iPhone

  1. Locate your Mumble Certificate on Windows 10:

    • Open Mumble.
    • Go to Configure > Certificate Wizard.
    • Choose Export Current Certificate.
    • Save the certificate to a location you can easily find, such as your desktop. It will be saved as a .p12 file.
  2. Upload the Certificate to a Cloud Storage:

    • If you have a cloud storage app like Dropbox, Google Drive, or iCloud Drive installed on your computer, open its respective folder.
    • Drag and drop (or copy and paste) the .p12 certificate file into this folder.
    • Wait for the file to finish syncing/uploading.
  3. Access the Certificate on your iPhone:

    • On your iPhone, open the corresponding cloud storage app (e.g., Dropbox, Google Drive, or iCloud Drive).
    • Navigate to the location where you saved the .p12 certificate file.
    • Tap on the certificate file.
  4. Import the Certificate to Mumble on iPhone:

    • When you tap on the .p12 certificate file, your iPhone might prompt you to review the certificate in the iPhone’s settings. Tap on ‘Allow’ or ‘Review’.
    • Go to Settings > Profile Downloaded or General > Profile.
    • Here you should see the certificate. Tap on it.
    • Follow the prompts to install the certificate on your device.
  5. Use the Certificate with Mumble:

    • Now, launch the Mumble app on your iPhone.
    • When connecting to a server, you should be able to select and use the imported certificate.

:warning: Note: Always ensure that your Mumble certificate is kept private. Only share or upload it to trusted cloud storage services, and remember to delete the certificate from the cloud storage once you’ve imported it to your iPhone for security reasons.
