Hello everyone… I just joined ADI last night and I’m very excited to be part of what looks like such a SUPERB organization. I’m also new to being a backer of Star Citizen but extremely excited to be part of such an amazing game. Been following it since it’s original Kickstarter and finally decided to make my pledge… So as you can see… I’m very stoked to be here all together.
I’m also looking forward to meeting and working (playing) with as many of you as I can. I’m going to be in Exploration and Survey as that seems to be the closest fit to my pre-existing talents and enjoyment. So if everyone can excuse me in advance for all the tons of questions I’m sure to be asking. Again… It’s great to be here… so let’s hope for a fast but not hurried full game development completion. Thanks!!
It sounds like you already completed your oboarding process already - which is great! Welcome to the ADI family as a full member.
I always like to make it clear that if you have any questions while you are here, don’t hesitate to reach out and ask one of us - we will do our best to get you the answers you are looking for.
Lastly - I just like to point out that ADI is working on branching out into other games while we patiently wait for SC to release (Soon TM as they say). Currently we have plans to support CoD:IW, we have a number of players in Ark Survival Evolved, and plan on supporting a survival space sim called Hellion when it releases (soon TM). Feel free to help our community expand into more new games.
Welcome again and I look forward to getting some game time in with you!
I feel your excitement! Remember, there is no such thing as a stupid question. Feel free to ask the questions that you have here on the forums and don’t be afraid to reach out on mumble also. There are plenty of people around that can help you get started and familiarize yourself with the current alpha state of the game, the org and the future of Star Citizen as a whole.
And thank you for your interest in ADI! I’m glad I got a chance to sit in on your on-boarding and get to know a little more about you. Hopefully we’ll get more of a chance to hang out at our Friday night flight nights if you can make them. On that note, be sure to take some time continuing to settle in, and continue to hop on Mumble in order to help familiarize yourself with the many members we have. By doing that, and the ability to participate in those flight nights, will help you grasp a lot more of what the game has to offer and how ADI conducts some activities. Once more patches are released we’ll be kicking a lot more SC time in, and these training nights/weekends will help you in the long run.
Let us know if you have any other questions, and once again welcome to the ADI family!
