Greetings and Cheers

Good evening, ADI.

West Coast based new member here… I backed this game way back in 2014 but have not been paying attention until recently. Open to any suggestions re: mechanics, lore, etc. As far for my (hopeful) role in ADI: I currently have a Freelancer and am debating which division to join; thinking exploration or commerce. Any suggestions for which division best suits a freelancer?

Currently playing: PUBG, The Division, BoTW, retros, and just about everything else.

Looking forward to meeting all of you.

Hi MyndSpydr,

Welcome to ADI! if you are just getting back into SC I would check out the development road map and watch some of the more recent Around the Verse’s. that should give you a pretty good idea of where its at development wise. I loved BoTW myself, it was a good step away from the formula they had established. Feel free to reach out if you have questions. Hope to see you in Mumble soon.

Welcome MyndSpydr!

As SolHawk mentioned, check out the development road map and if you have time catch up on the other semi-daily videos CIG puts out! There is a wealth of information in them. The Mumble is pretty active and feel free to drop in to chat or ask questions! The Freelancer definitely seems suited for exploration and commerce, so you might find Commerce and Transportation or the Exploration and Survey Division to fit you well! See you in the verse!

Hey Mynd!

Welcome to the ADI community  You’ll find we all play lots of games in addition to Star Citizen and are always looking for folks to join. Hope to see you on soon!

Hey MyndSpydr! I had a good time talking to you yesterday during your on-boarding. I would tell you not to spend your entire paycheck on buying ships but that would be hypocritical of me. If you want more opinion on which ships to but or upgrade to, there are plenty of people that can guide you on discord and mumble. I appreciate you sticking with us yesterday but it is worth it. I am looking forward to flying with you in the verse. There are tons and tons of videos online that cover the progress of the game. I am partial to BoredGamer’s and Noobifier’s youtube channels. I agree that the progress chart is another good resource. Again, welcome to ADI and I will see you around!

Welcome to ADI, watching the whole process of star citizen has been pretty amazing. Always feel free to jump in to mumble and look me up I’m always down the fly.

Greetings MyndSpydr, welcome to ADI! The freelancer is such a cool ship! It reminds me a lot of the Serenity from Firefly. To decide on a division, it really comes down to what you think you’ll enjoy doing the most, and what you’ll enjoy doing on a regular basis. And one of the great things about ADI is we don’t restrict anyone to only working within their division. You’ll be able to get certified to do any job within the Org and can pursue those other activities as well. If you have any questions please let us know. You can PM here or in Discord any time. Welcome to the team!

Welcome to ADI, and glad you joined us. I am from the East coast by the way.

Welcome Myndspydr! Whatever gameplay interests you the most. Remember that as long as you are certified to do a certain job, you can do them all!
