I’m thinking about buying an affordable video projector.
Mainly for watching youtube/netflix on the couch, ideally with 1080p resolution. I don’t like buying cheap, but staying in the 300-500 € would still be nice.
But why not think about playing SC with it. I’m most interested in exploration and cargo hauling, so it would probably not have to be a super-fast gaming model. On the other hand, is a projector (with a inherrently bad black value) the right technology for a space game with a lot of dark background?
I’m up-to-date with computers, but it would be my first projector.
What do you think about using one for SC, and is there something I really should know before buying?
