The story takes place on board the Vara exploration ship on its last known voyage in the Hades System in the year 2557.
This started as a submission for the 2025 Day of the Vara competition, but ended up being way to long for it. I wasn’t interested in shortening to the ridiculous 4000 character limit, so leaving as is. Sharing here and on Spectrum as is to get it out of my head (and keep me from further editing).
I would have posted directly to Spectrum or Community Hub, but they do not support attaching PDFs. The formatting was important IMO, so Internet Archive it is.
