Hi everyone, Eschatus here just a quick about me for you all.
I’ve been on Star Citizen for a little over year now, and this really is a game that just speaks to the sci-fi loving child inside me.
I love the game and what it represents, I’m generally on quite regularly as work is slow these days and I’m happy to help any who ask, or team up with those who want to enjoy this game and not grief or troll everyone else!
I hope to see some of you out there in the PU for some fleet fun and look forward to being part of the ADI and leading by example.
Welcome Eschatus and thank you for your interest in ADI! Be sure to take some time getting settled in and getting to know a few members that you may not already know; we hold a SC/ADI associated Friday night flight night which is where you can get to know many of us as well as get some good training in. So, we hope to see you tonight if you can make it. ADI also supports a few other games, such as ARK & CoD, (Previously mentioned by Infandus), so if your interests lie with any of those be sure to hook up with us there as well. BTW, any thought as to which division you’d like to pursue within ADI/SC?

Having a great time here, I’ve already joined the exploration and survey division =D. And Terraphon was an excellent guide regarding, well everything really the man’s a wizard!
I will try and make the flight nights, depending on time etc (ass end of the planet here unfortunately!) but I will definitely make the effort regardless.
Had a great time with Melysar earlier in the PU and looking forward to catching a big group of you all next time. I did see you’ve got a few other titles there, the only one I’ve got atm is BF1 but I am looking into getting ARK soon as well.

Don’t hesitate to join the conversations in mumble and discord. We don’t bite and we are eager to get to know our new guys. We have multiple scheduled gaming events every week such as the flight night in Star Citizen which is twice every Friday. There are two for both EU and US time zones but you can always join both no matter where you live.
You are always welcome to ask any questions by PM or talking/typing in a chat room, but be aware, that there are few channels with different topics & general rules such as:
The Blackwell’s is for off-topic and preferably no Star Citizen talk at all.
The Star Citizen Chat / org chat is for Star Citizen topics, ships and etc.
The Gameroom is for other games discussion and public playing, although if you play with a mate and you talk about the game in mumble whilst playing it, it would be better for you two to move down to a games channel for 1) clear communications for you two, 2) not interrupting the chat of others in the channel.
All of the channels above are in discord and mumble and those are our primary lounges.
I have to grab Discord for some other games anyway (Rocket League, Space Hulk: Deathwing) so that works out well, and I noticed the chats were very well organised so shouldn’t have any problems navigating the channels.
Also, I’ve copied over the calendar to AU time and to my surprise your Friday flight nights fall on a Saturday for me around lunch time, which is great! =D Worked out perfectly, so looking forward to getting to know everyone…while I wake up and recover from my Friday nights with my lunch/morning coffee !

We’re always happy to have players joining the community to are as excited about the game as we are - you should fit in just fine here!
It looks like you’ve already complete the process of being onboarded with Terraphon - which is great!
I always like to make it clear that if you have any questions while you are here, don’t hesitate to reach out and ask one of us - we will do our best to get you the answers you are looking for.
Lastly - I just like to point out that ADI is working on branching out into other games while we patiently wait for SC to release (Soon TM as they say). Currently we have plans to support CoD:IW, we have a number of players in Ark Survival Evolved, and plan on supporting a survival space sim called Hellion when it releases (expected to be January or February 2017). Feel free to help our community expand into more new games.
