Hi all, Varios here.
Im a new Star Citizen player here, interested to sign up as a Commerce Specialist. I understand that trading isn’t in the game for now but this would mean I can spend this time adjusting to the game itself in terms of basic ship controls and such.
I have already completed the other required application processes, and signed up with the organisation’s mumble server as well, looking forward to joining up and meeting up with the rest of our ADI members.

Welcome to ADI! It’s a great time to jump into the Alpha and get used to the basics, though there will be some changes coming in the 2.6 version of the Alpha to the ship speeds. Just something to keep in mind.
Commerce should drop with Alpha 3.0 and we should have a rudimentary system in place. Hopefully, that will give us C&T folks something more to do.
In the meantime, I hope to see you at flight night and on mumble.

Glad to hear that you’ve already completed most of the application process. All that’s left is to get onboarded on mumble, if you haven’t already.
C&T is going to be a great way to make money and see the galaxy. I’m sure you’ll have quite a bit of fun with that, once they finally put trading in.
While we’re waiting for all of that to happen, please feel free to hop in with us in any of the other games we’re playing. You’ll see that we have quite a bit going on and we look forward to playing with you in any of the titles we’re active in.

Sorry I’m just now able to give you the warm welcome alongside a few of our members that already have…been outta pocket the past week or so, but either way, welcome to the ADI family! 
Commerce/Trading sounds like it will be pretty fun, and we can always use more traders!
Be sure to take some time getting settled in and familiar with a few of our many members…it will help you on in the long run once we really get moving SC wise once more patches are released.
