Good evening, lads and lasses,

I’m Ted, space noob extraordinaire! I am 24 years old, and work as a full-time Tech Support Specialist for Dental X-Ray machinery and software. I just backed SC a couple weeks ago and haven’t had much motivation to play, as none of my friends have backed it, but when I was invited to join such a… wait for it… STELLAR org, I had to take up the opportunity! A large reason I play video games is to play with other people. Finding a role in a large org like this is exactly the kind of motivation I need to get deeper into SC.

I’ve played many an hour of Elite Dangerous, so space sims are nothing new to me, but space legs are! I normally play a lot of FPS titles, like CS:GO, DayZ, etc, or large scale MMOs like WoW and ESO, so I have plenty of experience with playing with an organization of players.

Thanks for taking time to read my post, and I hope to see you all in the great empty beyond!

Welcome to ADI, Yeah man none of my old gaming friends play SC, well now 3 years in the Org and I have tons of friends that I play with almost everyday. Jump in mumble its a great place to met people and get help with SC.

It can be difficult at times to find people who want to pay for a game that isn’t even released yet, but you will find this game likely has more going for it than some “released” titles. That said, I think you will find many players here from all walks of life and varied interests.

Before backing EVE, I was also playing a lot of Elite as well as EVE, but no matter how much I love both of these games, SC is just another level.

Make sure you follow some of our streamers on Twitch, it is a good way to learn about the game and make friends.
