Mesachie, thanks for the warm welcome.
When completing my inboarding with Frakk last night, I asked to be put in the salvaging/mining division based on my current ships and personal preferences.
So far, I played the game for 2 weeks and I believe that I am more suited for the slower pace of mining/salvaging with the sporadic combat that the cutlass will afford me. I play with keyboard and mouse, and mining/salvaging seems better suited for my current setup than being used as a fighter pilot full time.
