Intro Xenopex

Hiya Everyone, Xenopex here, though ya can call me Xeno I’ve been looking for an org to call home for a bit, especially to be able to man a multi crew ship and you all seem like a good fit. As I have much to learn about the mechanics of the game and especially the flight model. But I have experience with other flight combat sims and fps games such as Battlefield Bad Company 2 and onward, and the R6 Vegas games and overwatch. Look forward to flying with you all.

Hi Xeno, welcome to ADI, you’ve found a good Org if you’re looking for multicrew play, we frequently team up together nearly every night. FYI you’ll find FPS combat less CoD and BF and more ARMA in my opinion, and it can be intense! The flight model in this game is closer to sim than “game” but it certainly has its own character, the best way to learn it is just to fly a lot. Try flying around in Area Commander if you want to get a feel for AI combat (PVP is quite different though), or just practice flying loops around Port Olisar (and through the rings, and stopping suddenly or strafing-&-turning out near the fuel pods or the radiators on the ends, etc.) to get the feeling for your ship. Lots of us have lots of ships in the game by now, and we’re always happy to help new players learn the mechanics and techniques to get from A to B and kill some bad guys on the way, or just let you borrow a ship to try, so don’t be hesitant to ask anything you want to know!

Hey Xeno, ADI is a great group. Your gaming background is wide and always good, SC is more a sim, so DCS, ARMA as Superliminal has noted, but it will be to most complete combat you will experience, No other game I know of can transition from space combat to atmospheric combat, to ground/station, and now caves to do combat in. You will find a lot of players here willing to help, and join in with. Crew combat and mission sharing is now here and soon as we get it all tested out im sure you will find plenty to enjoy. WELCOME! o7

Welcome aboard Xeno! Glad to have you with us. We definitely pride ourselves on group play. I too am looking forward to seeing how multi-crew pans out and what game play options it presents us.

Thanks for the tips! I kinda started getting back into the swing of things at the moment so I’m getting used to the flight model a little bit and loving it. I just cant wait to get a new ship, very much looking forward to the Cutlass Black I plan on buying later this month. Itll be a nice upgrade from my Aurora LN haha.

Welcome! You will love the Cutlass. It’s by far the best bang for your buck in the game. Don’t hesitate to ask for help as you get your legs under you and I look forward to seeing you in mumble and in game.

Welcome Xeno, If door kicking is half as fun in SC as it is in Seige then we should be in for a wild ride. Do you happen to play Squad also?

Welcome to the org, Xeno! Fleet Security is going to love you with your FPS gaming background. Did you ever play competitively or were you more of a recreational player? I saw that you were also thinking of picking up the Cutlass Black. That is actually one of the two ships I currently possess and I love it. Occasionally you’ll have issues with the cargo door, but 99% of the time it’ll work as it’s supposed to.

Welcome Xeno! Glad to have you with us here at ADI, you picked the right org to call home with active and experienced members to enjoy the Verse. Hope to fly with you soon!

Greetings Xeno! and welcome to ADI. You’ve come to the right place when it comes to an org thats active, eager for its membership.

Hey Xeno, Always goot to see someone with game xp where group play is recommended! Welcome to ADI!

Welcome Xeno! What kind of role are you interested in taking in Star Citizen?

Hi xeno. Welcome in the team. Well, the learning curve in the game is sometimes quite steep in the game, since Star Citizen still develops with and around you. But in my opinion it is the Charme of this game… You are a part of it’s history and future.

Hello Xeno and welcome to ADI, see you in the verse

Welcome Xeno, ADI is a great place to call home. Hope to see you flying in the verse.

Not quite sure yet, I’m looking at all possible avenues but I love piloting so perhaps transport escort or since I’m pretty good at fps combat and tactics security.

But really I just wanna be a part of a tight knit crew on a ship.

I prefer recreational but I have done some semi pro in CSGO.

Not a problem man! You’ll be able to get with a regular crew on one of the capital or medium sized ships if that’s what you desire. Such a big org means there are plenty of options for your tight knit operational crew!

Welcome! You won’t have a problem finding multi-crew fun around here, usually something going on almost every night.
