Yes i’m quite new but learning fast. I’m keen as mustard for the game. Had some fun experiences, building up my aUEC’s and staying out of trouble. [edit] Oh I’ve started with the Aurora MR and upgraded better weapons with CF-007 Bulldog repeaters x2 along with the stock missile rack. This gives me a slightly better chance against Nine Nails except when he’s in a Gladius, then it’s frightfully more intense. Will upgrade the ship at some point.
I’ll probably start my career in security and escort with a more suitable ship. As of now i’m just happy to glide around doing ICC missions.
Also want to acquirer a HOTAS joystick or some sort without breaking the piggy bank 
I’ll be hovering about the forums and in-game so I have any questions i’ll be in touch.
