Just recently discovered the massive project that is Star Citizen. Pretty excited, I’ve been waiting for something like this ever since the Wing Commander/Freelancer days. I don’t really play any other MMOs, except Destiny on PS4 (GQ_Soldier, if anyone wants to add me). Although I am looking forward to Mass Effect: Andromeda later this year. About the only other games I play on PC are Elder Scrolls and Fallout titles, and occasionally Microsoft Flight Sim.
About me, 13 year Army Infantry vet, medically retired. Wife and son, with another on the way this summer. Currently a full time student dual-majoring in Criminology and Psychology, planning on going to law school later to get dual masters in law and social work. I plan to use it all to represent and help Veterans. I’ve lived all over the world and am into a whole lot of hobbies, which my wife hates because most of them are expensive (scuba diving, golf, etc.) and the equitment takes up more space than we have.
You should feel at home here, so many military members it is impossible to list them all! I am personally coming up to 12 years in the British Army.
I agree on the excitement over Star Citizen, the first time I did some EVA in the PU I was amazed at what they had achieved. It has to be the most exciting PC project to have even been imagined in the past… Well ever! I never played Wing Commander or the others, which is strange as I have been playing games since the days of the Amstrad 464.
If you eve see me in mumble, it means I am playing Star Citizen or Arena Commander, so come say hello and we’ll fight our way through some pirates or Vanduul together.

That was exactly what I was going for. I was torn between Lone Starr and Roger Wilco (for any gamers old enough to remember him) They both seemed so fitting for this game.
